The Gathering Place

Community Day Event 

is an annual community day and is the heartbeat of the Gathering Austin, Inc., founder, JaVonte Austin. JaVonte wanted to have a day of enjoyment while provide real time health and welfare checks for the community members of the neighborhood. He believes that a community that gathers in support of our children will have a significant impact on their community engagement to include socialization, and will increase their community support for them as well.

The Gathering Place Community Day will take place July 2020 and will be located on the grounds of SE Washington, D.C.
